About
Dr. Andrew Taylor Still (1828-1917) founder of
Osteopathy established the first osteopathic medical
school in Kirksville in 1892. The museum’s collection of
original documents, and other artifacts span over 150
years of the evolution of osteopathic medicine. They
range from bloodletting and blistering instruments to a
completely dissected human nervous system, one of
only four in the world.
