Located in the southeast corner of Patryla Park, Spur Pond is on Osteopathy Street, 0.8 miles south from the intersection of Potter and Osteopathy, or 0.4 miles north of the Northeast Regional Medical Center.

Spur Pond is located on Osteopathy Street in Kirksville is stocked annually with 1400 trout by the city of Kirksville in partnership with the Missouri Conservation Department. The pond is open on a catch and release basis until Jan. 31st each year. From Feb. 1- Oct. 31, the trout may be harvested up to four trout a day. Fishing licenses with a trout license are required.
