Andrew Taylor Still founded the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1892 and it was the first institution of osteopathic education in the world. KCOM is ranked in U.S. News & World Report as one of the best medical schools in the country for rural and family medicine training.

MACC has campuses in Moberly, Columbia, Edina, Hannibal, Mexico, and Kirksville.
