Reach the southern portion of the area via Highway 11, about three miles southwest of Kirksville. To get to the eastern and northern areas, travel north from Highway 11 on State Highway H.
About
The west side of this 1,066-acre conservation area is bordered by Thousand Hills State Park, managed by the Missouri Department
of Natural Resources. 40% of the area is made up of timber while the majority 60% consists of native grassland and old field habitats.
Activities
Activities include bicycling, bird watching, camping, fishing (bass, catfish, sunfish), and hunting (deer, quail, rabbit, squirrel, turkey).
